It was released today that Bass Player Carl will be leaving Heart In Hand.

Never fear, there is a new bass player on the way ‘Gav Thane’ so watch this space!

A statement was released on the bands facebook page.

As some of you may have seen already, we have very recently parted ways with our bass player Carl. He was there from the start and had a huge part shaping Heart In Hand into what it is today, but it was time for him to move forward and onto other ventures. There are no hard feelings between us and we wish him all the best for his future.
Taking his place on the lower frequencies will be our long term friend and bass wizard Gav Thane. You might remember him from bands like Viatrophy andDeath Of An Artist, and he also filled in for Carl on our Scandinavian tour last month. Here’s to the future, forever looking forward!

After nearly a year of coming to terms with our heartache, we finally feel ready to announce publicly what we have thought privately for some time. We can no longer continue making or performing music as Lostprophets. Your love and support over the past 15 years has been tremendous, and we’ll be forever grateful for all you’ve given us. On Thursday night at ‘The Square’ Benjamin Eel took to the stage. Behind him stood a range of incense sticks, this made the crowd wonder who was about to perform. Picking up his guitar with a big smile on his face, he filled the room with acoustic/alternative music. Around forty curious people stood around and watching Ben sing his heart out, meaning every single word he sung.
